Ryan Wakim, MD
Dr. Ryan Wakim is a board-certified psychiatrist with an entrepreneurial essence who has worked to expand access to life-changing behavioral healthcare across the country. He is nationally recognized for his work with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and complex mental health conditions, with a passion for and expertise in the subspecialty of interventional psychiatry. This field includes services such as the use of Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and EEG-driven treatment planning. He obtained his medical degree from West Virginia University where he also completed his residency training, finishing as chief resident in 2014.
Dr. Wakim Co-Founded and served as the CEO of an innovative, wellness informed, multistate healthcare system, Transformations, until a successful merger with Shore Capital’s outpatient mental health platform in May of 2021. He now sits as the acting Chief Medical Officer of the Transformations Care Network with a key role in developing strategic clinical and growth-oriented initiatives under a visionary directive to change the standard and stigma of behavioral healthcare, generationally.
